Manchester Climate Ready (MCR) is a network of stakeholders in the public, private and charitable sectors collaborating with local people to create a city where climate action improves lives, drives prosperity and restores nature.

We ensure that Manchester maintains a science-based approach to climate change that is in line with the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to well below 2°C to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, has a robust climate change strategy and targets, and provides evidence-based reporting on the city's progress towards its climate goals.

We provide independent expertise to help accelerate change, champion the delivery of effective climate action, engage and influence stakeholders and communities to act, and seek to establish Manchester as a world class city for action on climate change.
