Manchester Climate Change Agency
The Manchester Climate Change Agency and Partnership are responsible for overseeing and championing climate change action in the city. Manchester Climate Change Agency was established in September 2015 by the Manchester: A Certain Future Steering Group, Manchester City Council and BDP.

Ellie Bradley
Ellie is Programme and Finance Officer for the Manchester Climate Change Agency. She is responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the Agency and working with the Agency Director across all workstreams to strengthen climate change action across the city. Before securing her current role she held a volutneer internship with the Agency after graduating with a degree in geography from Manchester Metropolitian University.
Youth Champion for Climate Action
Lewis Nelson
Lewis is the Youth Champion for Climate Action for the Manchester Climate Change Agency. Lewis is responsible for ensuring youth voice is embedded in the work of the Agency and youth people have a genuine stake in the Race to Zero. Lewis is also responsible for supporting the Manchester Climate Change Youth Board with their priorities.
Outside of work at the MCCA, Lewis is a councillor for his home area in Salford, and before working for the climate change agency worked at Salford Young Carers service and also helped to create the GM Youth Combined Authority.
Resident and Communities Programme Lead
Lisa Lingard
Lisa is Resident and Communities Programme Lead for the Manchester Climate Change Agency. She is responsible for leading the Agency's work with Residents and Communities. Previously she was Principal Environmental Strategy Officer at Manchester City Council.
Senior Community Projects Lead (Climate & Nature)
Amy Wright
Amy is a Community Engagement professional specialising in climate action and nature projects. Her recent work has included greenspace co-design, management of community grants programmes and facilitating community-led climate action through EU-funded GrowGreen and IGNITION projects.
Amy is on secondment with MCCA from Groundwork Greater Manchester until August 2022, supporting citizens to understand and practically contribute to the delivery of nature-based-solutions (NBS) in their communities.
Project Assistant
Benjamin Porter
Ben is a Project Assistant on the communities program for the Agency and is coordinating work with the interfaith group Our Faith, Our Planet. Before his role at the agency, Ben graduated studying geography at the University of Manchester. Ben has personal interests in sustainable transport and food systems.
