Our city’s shared plan to tackle climate change

Ash Farrah

 

Ash Farrah is a Neighbourhood Compliance Officer for Manchester City Council, and also a long-time, voluntary member of the Manchester Youth Board, being one of the original six members of the board. 

During Ash's time being a member of the Youth Board, Ash has worked with Manchester's univeristies, hospitals, private institutions and so on to help with Manchester's mission on becoming carbon zero by 2038. 

Ash is also a trained Carbon Literacy trainer at Manchester Metropolitan University, and thus allows students to gain an understanding and an awareness of the CO2 costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.
